“Beinn Bhuidhe & Stac a’ Chuirn”

Beinn Bhuidhe (3110ft) to the north of loch fyne lies the most isolated peak in the cowal & arrochar alps range. The munro is accessable from glen shira or via glen fyne, best to leave until clear weather is forecasted for navigation & breathtaking views over loch fyne & loch awe to the nwest.

  1. I’ve always ignored this hill, probably because it’s a longer walk in than the rest of the big hills in the area. Your post just rang a wee bell that I should have a closer look at it, Tommy, as the views look pretty damn good.

  2. Hi Ken, the views from the summit are excellent but with long approaches & no path above 750m, the terrain can be challenging especially in poor visibility conditions. (a huge day for FD) :o )
